Under the patronage of the European federation of centers of Research and information on sects (FECRIS) on 7 May in Warsaw place an international conference on the problems of sects took place. On the theme of “Systematic abuse in cults: testimonies and evidence”. About 150 people from all over Europe, the United States and Canada.

The European federation of centres of Research and information about the sects originated in France in 1994. This international organization has a membership of about 40 countries, which are interested tokeep informed on the activities of sects. The Polish representative in FECRIS is the movement of Defense of family and individuals (RORiJ). As from 2010 year FECRIS is a member of the Platform of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

On Tuesday (10 May) at 15.30there was an interview on the radio Anna Łobaczewska, from Niepokalanów, president of RORiJ, will among others thigs speak of how cults recruit recruit new members.

The President of FECRIS, Tom Sackville, was Minister of Health in Great Britain and Georges Fenech is the representative of French government for matters of sects.
